We’re not sure yet what it is, frankly. But we wanted to dig into the conversation the internet was having about Chamberlain Coffee (thanks to this Sprudge article).

4. Importance of a Consumer-Driven Approach: We emphasized how Emma uses her substantial online presence to create products that her audience loves, showcasing the power of understanding and catering to consumer preferences.

5. Insights into Specialty Coffee Industry: The episode sheds light on the crucial need for specialty coffee expertise in businesses like Chamberlain Coffee to navigate the market effectively and avoid common pitfalls.

Friends and friends of friends.

George from Five Elephant

Location: Mitte, Alte Schönhauser Str.

Five Elephant

Let’s try something new!

Today, we’re sharing a café playlist from George! He’s my barista on the daily at the Mitte location of Five Elephant here in Berlin.

You always know when George is working (even if your eyes are closed) because of his music. It’s totally unusual for a café (and perfectly matches my favorite music for focused work), so I asked him about it.

He told me that he gets some negative feedback (“it feels more like a church than a coffee shop”) but his reasoning is what fascinates me!

Basically, he doesn’t want baristas banging on things…getting so caught up in the energetic music that they aren’t careful and cautious about the equipment and the coffee.

Who else loves the thoughtfulness of this?!

You can find his Spotify playlist here.

Do you have a favorite café playlist you’d like us to share? Let us know and we’ll feature it!

x, Miranda
